did you get this error when you tried to :createlang plperl template1?
me too!
then i did this
find /usr -name libperl.so
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux/CORE/libperl.so
and then added
that dir {/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i386-linux/CORE/}
to the /etc/ld.so.conf
ldconfig
and vroom it all went to the good
