db Comparisons - Road Show

Hi you all,

I'm convincing my boss to drop Sybase and use Postgres exclusively for
the Partnership for Peace database (see  www.ppc.pims.org if you are
interested in an account just fill in the form and use my name as the
POC).  But is there someplace that has a comparisons of Postgres to
things like Oracle Ingress Sybase...

Also I need to take the show on the road.  So I got permission to buy a
"good" notebook PC.  I want to run Netscape Enterprise Server (and mess
around with Apache) and Postgres over Linux (analog modem and LAN card)
-- very good performance and a super display/display driver (so I can
play games in the hotel room).  Can anyone recommend a super notebook
that has good compatibility for this configuration?
