Upgrade 6.3 to 7.02

I am completely new to this and am looking for some step-by-step, how-to
instructions on performing an upgrade on an existing database in 6.3 to
7.02.

I am currently running RH 5.2 Linux on a machine.

I have RH 6.2 but have not upgraded yet.  Do I have to do the Linux first
and then the Postgress?

I still need help with the 6.3 7.02..
