ODBC is a superset of SQL/CLI. Though, the last time I checked,
SQL/CLI was equivalent to ODBC 2.0. The current version of ODBC is
3.52.
I believe Command Prompt's ODBCng driver is closer to the 3.0/3.5
spec, though it isn't very friendly licensed (GPL).
