This should be producing a core file in your database directory
($PGDATA/base/yourdboid/).  With gdb you'd do
    gdb /path/to/postgres-executable /path/to/corefile
    gdb> bt
    gdb> quit
I don't remember the equivalent incantations with Solaris' debugger.
