common repository and centos8 dependencies

Resending this to the list.

I'm attempting a first centos8 deployment and failing here:

yum install check_postgres
  - nothing provides perl-DateTime-Format-DateParse needed by check_postgres-2.25.0-1.rhel8.noarch

[root@template0 ~]# yum list --showdu check_postgres
