Hi all,
after reading some mail, I have tried "select version() ;"
the answer is : "PostgreSQL 7.2 on i686-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by GCC 2.96"
As it is well know that GCC-2.96 was bugged, (trying to compile BerkeleyDB with it
give a warning about that) and as I had some problems,
what I must to do :
- recompile (pg 7.2) with an other version of gcc (I have a gcc-3.0.4 on the same partition)
- is it better to use pg 7.3 compiled with gcc-3.3.4 ?
