Well, it used to accept it in older versions of postgresql. I think it's
'SET DATE_STYLE ISO,European' or some such. At one stage there was a
"US-ISO" format which was yyyy-dd-mm. Ugh! That's fixed now IIRC.

Try it, who knows.
