That's an easy one: SELECT ... UNION SELECT ... does exactly what
you need. You can leave DISTINCT off the individual SELECTs because
UNION implies a DISTINCT pass over the merged output. (Use UNION ALL
if you don't want a final DISTINCT pass.)
