in my pgbouncer configured as:
;auth_file=/test/user.txt
auth_query = SELECT usename, passwd FROM pg_shadow WHERE usename=$1
Of course. When try connect with command " psql -p 6666 postgres -U dba"
Print erro in screen.
psql: ERROR: No such user: dba
But, exists user and passwd in database. And try connect with "psql -p 5432
postgres -U dba"
success!
