What version of postgresql on cygwin are you using?

Ipc-daemon failing to start is usually a permission problem with the
user account the service is running on.

Hello,

I saw a posting from you regarding installing ipc-daemon and postmaster as
Windows services. I have WinXP and installed cygwin and postgresql. But when
I try to start the ipc-daemon , it does not start.

I isuued the following command:

net start ipc-daemon2


The following is the message.

The Cygwin IPC Daemon 2 service is starting.
The Cygwin IPC Daemon 2 service could not be started.

The service did not report an error.
