hi list,
i'm just started with postghreSQL.
my version 7.1.3.
i started: pg_ctl start -o -i
after this i made changes in
-pg_hba.conf
-pg_ident.conf
now my problem is:
pg_ctl stop always failes.
pg_ctl: postmaster does not shut down
i read on the list that i should not use
killall -9 postmaster
so i hope anybody can help me
