Hi
 
I am a new user to Cygwin. I have installed the windows version of the Cygwin. I am able to execute ipc-daemon.exe, initdb, postmaster etc. But whenever I am trying to enter
 
    $su
or
    $su - -c "createuser postgres"
or
    $su - postgres
 
I am getting "su: user root does not exist" as an error.
 
What is the cause for this? What is the remedy?
