Hi,

Is it possible for another database user (not a postgresql superuser ) to start the database.
We are facing some problems w.r.t. pg_ctl start by another database user, it says

postmaster successfully started
FATAL 1:  cannot open /home/sajive/testdb/PG_VERSION: Permission denied
