Looked thru the archives and found several similar questions, but no answers, so we'll try again. Can PostgreSQL run in a LINUX cluster something like Oracle's RAC implementation? If not, is this a planned enhancement? No. There is a project, called Postgres-R, to do something different
than what Oracle does with RAC. Depending on how you used it,
Postgres-R might have several of the advantages without some of the
disadvantages.
