secondary password file

I read in the 7.3 upgrade docs that the secondary password file and pg_password utility have been removed in 7.3.2. I am currently using them to control user access to databases. I have several databases on one server and need to ensure that only certain people can access each one. Will PostgreSQL 7.3.2 handle this directly?

Sort of.  The mechanism is different.  See the discussion from just
prior to the release of 7.3.  I think this is the thread I'm
