Обсуждение: Problem installing Postgresql 7.3.1 on RedHat 8.0
Hi ,
While installing Postgres-libs- 7.3.1 binaries on RedHat 8.0 , I get a dependency problem.
RPM reports dependency error postgresql-libs=7.2.2 required .
So I installed the Postgresql-libs-7.2.2 (as RPM wants) and I still get the same error even though the libs are on the system.
I have no problem installing and running Postgres 7.2.2.
I would appreciate some help.

installing from pgsql 7.3.2 tarball is not that difficult. regds mallah.
