Hi, has anyone at all gotten Postgres to work on NetBSD or is this a
lost cause?  I realise that NetBSD isn't on the list of supported OSes
but one can still hope...

Thanks for any hints or pointers.

Certainly works with NetBSD - we have it running on sparc and i386
platforms.

Thanks to all for their help and suggestions.

The problem was a rather mysterious one where the binary produced on
that particular machine didn't work but a binary produced on another
machine and copied over did.

Both binaries were of the same size but 'differed' according to diff.
