I've not seen it, but the KDE approach sounds like what I'm favouring
(which, I should point out has some significance on whether or not any
particular patch will be accepted into pgAdmin).

Not from that strace. Can you try the latest version?

That should be possible, and I'd be happy to see it done. The biggest
problem is likely to be that wxODBC isn't compiled into most builds of
wxWidgets, and doesn't necessarily work well when it is. Quan is
battling with this at the moment for his data import tool.

The other issue to consider, is that anything we do with ODBC will be
generic so it works with any DBMS - it may not be possible to do
anything that is better than the Oracle UI with that restriction.
