I normally pull from
   https://git.postgresql.org/git/postgresql.git/

but for a few hours now it's been failing (while other git repo's are 
still reachable).

Is it me or is there a hiccup there?

I see the same problem.  Also, the buildfarm hasn't reported anything 
for a few hours.
