Обсуждение: Setting up Selena for release announcement
WWW, I'd like Selena to be able to back me up / replace me for getting release announcements out. This means she needs the following permissions: 1) Moderation bypass to pgsql-announce (for selena@postgresql.org) 2) Subscribed to pgsql-slavestothewww 3) Access to wwwmaster/admin Thanks for helping set this up. -- -- Josh Berkus PostgreSQL Experts Inc. http://www.pgexperts.com

I strongly dislike *anyones* address having an automatic go, given the nature and size of that list. +1 on making her a mod so she can approve her own messages though. - -- Greg Sabino Mullane greg@turnstep.com End Point Corporation http://www.endpoint.com/ PGP Key: 0x14964AC8 201010051634 http://biglumber.com/x/web?pk=2529DF6AB8F79407E94445B4BC9B906714964AC8 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iEYEAREDAAYFAkyri9kACgkQvJuQZxSWSsjrZgCggfLNgxf460AkZ4xFltRSBnVq a2UAoItFYFs0U3tVQXYvmVI+0kefMZ4m =MtlW -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

In that case, can you make me a mod and remove my bypass as well? It would be more convenient for me to post-and-moderate. -- -- Josh Berkus PostgreSQL Experts Inc. http://www.pgexperts.com

Added you (josh@agliodbs.com) and Selena (selena@postgresql.org) as new moderators. I'm not sure where to adjust the auto-approval bits (Marc?) - -- Greg Sabino Mullane greg@turnstep.com PGP Key: 0x14964AC8 201010060812 http://biglumber.com/x/web?pk=2529DF6AB8F79407E94445B4BC9B906714964AC8 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iEYEAREDAAYFAkysZ60ACgkQvJuQZxSWSsghZQCfQX7lY8Gm+08KowFyOTUOLlJH eTQAnAoCW+mc2qCPEiCZE7HkspXdKiv3 =Igmh -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

Marc, >>> 1) Moderation bypass to pgsql-announce (for selena@postgresql.org) >> >> Marc will need to do that. You're very lagged! What the WWW wants is not that Selena have auto-approval. Instead, *neither* of us (not me either) should have auto-approval, and we both should be moderators. Greg has already added us as moderators, but you need to remove the auto-approval. -- -- Josh Berkus PostgreSQL Experts Inc. http://www.pgexperts.com
Not sure how I was lagged, when it only landed in my mailbox this morning, but ... *shrug* both you and Selena removed as auto-approved On Wed, 6 Oct 2010, Josh Berkus wrote: > Marc, > >>>> 1) Moderation bypass to pgsql-announce (for selena@postgresql.org) >>> >>> Marc will need to do that. > > You're very lagged! > > What the WWW wants is not that Selena have auto-approval.
