Обсуждение: pgFoundry - can I run a custom script?
Well, this is the closest mailing list I could find -- and I'm still not sure it's right. The forums are rather dead.

I would like to run a script on one of the hosted pgFoundry sites (this one: http://python.projects.postgresql.org/)

Basically, the script would retrieve information about commits and mailinglist activity and add that info to the main page of the site to show how "active" or "inactive" the project has beenlately.

I have a Python script to do this... but I doubt there is any chance of getting something like thatsetup. So... what are my options? What kind of scripts can I run on the server in the background to generate statichtml pages that can be served ... or ... as a server side script that gets run each time the user accesses the page(like PHP)?

The New Busy is not the too busy. The proper address to get the pgfoundry peoples attention is supposedly gforge-admins@pgfoundry.org. But I believe some of them read this list as well, just maybe not as carefully. -- Magnus HaganderMe: http://www.hagander.net/Work: http://www.redpill-linpro.com/
