The website part works fine, and is no problem. So does the FTP site. The problem is process, not technology. The part that goes tag->bundle->temp location->verify->main location relies on only Marc to do it, and AFAIK nobody else can do that (except the verify step, which Tom usually carries out, but that others can do if he's not available). I have done the alpha releases, and I can confirm that I can do all the steps myself except the web site update. And instead of giving me a list of names now, how will one know in general in the future who they are?
