Обсуждение: how to use "text" type data

I want to put *.txt (ASCII PC Text file) to PostgreSQL Database.....
(.. It's DB Data type is TEXT )

..

1.How can i use sql sentence...
EX)  create table test (
            pkey  int primary key,
            data  text);

       ??=>>  insert into test (~~~~~??????)

2.How can i search TEXT type Data ... very highly speed...??
   i want to search word with in Text type data....
