I don't know if this program, 'elfdump', has any equivalent to ldd's
"-r" option, but it's worth a try.

Back to the original problem - as both you and me have the same problem
with libpq.so I've got a hunch it's not our own fault. At least I would
be more comfortable believing it's a bug :)

Hi,

looks like Greadbridge is shipping PostgreSQL 7.1 for Sun Solaris soon.

Does anybody know if (and how) they solved the problem of the undefined
symbols in libpq.so.2 and plpgsql.so ?

btw.
sgi "elfdump" seems to have no equvalent option to ldd -r. At least I don't
get any errors on IRIX, but didn't test with php. (No need of php yet)
