This patch improves the documentation for the shared_buffers GUC param. The phrasing of the postgresql.conf inline comment is still a little bit clumsy, but I'm not sure how to make it better given the small amount of space (suggestions welcome). I'd suggest that the runtime.sgml description explicitly say "values of
at least a few thousand are recommended for production installations".
