Can't install Postgresql

Hi,

I'm trying to reinstall Postgresql on my pc. Problem is, I don't know what the password was before and, therefore, cannot complete the install. Can someone guide me to the location of the previous password so I can delete it and start over?

Just a few:

What is your OS
What is the version
What databases are there
What local users are there
What db users are there
How has it been installed
