Обсуждение: Howto run PG 8.0 Online Backup
Hello, I'm currently involved in determing if PG 8.0 fulfill our expectations and it is applicable to upgrade our current versions of Pg 7.4& 7.3 into 8.xx... So far so good... My problem right now is concerning about online backup... According to manual, I'm supposed to set up archive_command(archive_command='cp %p /path/%f'), start backup (select pg_start_backup('label')), and stop backup (select pg_start_backup())... Question is: does PG copy according to archive_command by itself or I'm responsable to manually copy files? Thks... ----------------------------- Cordialmente, Renê Salomão rene@ibiz.com.br IBIZ Tecnologia - www.ibiz.com.br (011) 5579-3178 --------------------------------
