Rapidly growing Stamford, CT. hedge fund manager with over $3 billion
under
management is currently seeking an experienced IT professional.  This
individual will
assist in the development / ongoing maintenance of databases (and
possibly financial
models) used in the portfolio management process.   Excellent
opportunity to join a
successful firm engaged in all areas of fixed income and credit
derivatives.
Candidate must have proven PostgreSql (or MySQL, Oracle) skills, Java,
C++, Excel/VBA
Programming language experience. Experience in trading system
integration, financial
modeling, and portfolio management systems development a huge plus. A
Bachelor's
degree is a must, preferably in Computer Science or Mathematics.
