The New York Post seeks a highly experienced individual to assist in
building database redundancy through replication for its existing
PostgreSQL database. The position will last for approximately 1 month or
until the candidate's role in the project is completed. The candidate
will work with the Senior Database Programmer on staff and Globix, Corp.
to plan and implement the replication strategy, but will be expected to
make recommendations and perform most of the implementation with minimal
supervision. Work from home is an option. Salary commensurate with
experience. The successful candidate will have all of the following:

* advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL
* experience with replication solutions for PostgreSQL (e.g., ERServer,
Mammoth)
* basic familiarity with Unix (FreeBSD preferred)
