I newbie and i get cvs distribitive/

All compiled and worked, but for run test need instal ant-junt - not only ant and junit. This true for version ant 1.6.
Forant 1.5 no need ant-junit. See http://ant.apache.org/faq.html#delegating-classloader-1.6.  

please put this info to http://jdbc.postgresql.org/development/intro.html
