Yes, use DatabaseMetaData. You can obtain it from Connection object:

Connection con;
...
DatabaseMetaData mtd = con.getMetaData();


And then use methods like getPrimaryKeys(...), getCrossReeference(...), getExportedKeys(...), getImportedkeys(...) etc. See Java API.
