dreamweaver mx

Hello,

Now that I have resolved the problems with single quotes I decided it
was time to update my page.

Naturally I have been playing with the latest version of Dreamweaver -
mx since it became available.

I am having some difficulties with the JDBC driver:

    - mx seems to connect to the database
    - table schemas are not returned
    - error message is "450 unsupported method"

I can zip up the mx connection files (several .js includes and html file
and some .jsps) and send them to those who request them instead of
spamming the list.

We really need to be in the jdbc connections dialogs on an equal footing
with MySQL. Or at least included on the Dreamweaver mx extensions site.
Maybe mail coming from the core developers or from commercial PostgreSQL
companies would have more impact on Macromedia than my previous efforts?

Cheers

Tony,

Postgres doesn't support schema's as of yet. Is there any way to
configure dreamweaver so it doesn't use them?

If you want zip the jsp's and send them to me, chances are I need the
libraries though too

Dave,

=:-D happy bunny smile. Now that I am taking some days off and resting
up a little my brain is functionning again! And now that I have Forte
4.0 ae and am working my way through "The Java Tutorial"... well...

I have a working postgresql connection in Dreamweaver mx!!!!

I read through all the files and the problem was a brain dead Macromedia
installer program which had picked up the files from Ultradev and stuck
some nice little relative paths in there. So in fact the connection file
was reading some nasty little .js files from Ultradev and including
them.

I'll get the details on line ASAP

Cheers

More news on the Dreamweaver front:

there is a bug in the .js generic jdbc connection script
    I have corrected it
Mac OS X still won't connect to postgresql (undefined error)

OK it is a preview release of Dremweaver mx so not worried by theses
issues.

Cheers
