escaping ' again

escaping ' again

I read this thread right here last week...

Well the upgrade to Tomcat4 has broken something or I have the wrong
postgresql.jar...

The database serves "l'art" just fine but when I try inserting into the
database it refuses unless I escape "l\'art"

Any clues?
