Обсуждение: ODBC driver installation error
While trying to install PsqlODBC 7.01.0006, I got the following error: Error 1918. Error installing ODBC driver: PostgreSQL, ODBC error 0:. Verify that the file PostgreSQL exists and that you can access it. Thanks in advance, Mihai

Windows 98. What is the ODBC Driver Manager? (Sorry, :-( ) The previous time I installed a PG ODBC driver it simply installed, no questions asked. Are you talking about iODBC? I could connect to PG from MSAccess from the very beginning (after installing a previous version of the PG ODBC driver on the Win machine). If you refer to the Win machine: Win 98 4.10.1998 ODBC Driver Manager: ODBC32.dll: 2.50.3006 Jet Engine: MSJT3032.dll: 3.000.2809 I did not find any specific limitations as to Win version and drivers on odbc.postgresql.org. Please help. The result of the failed installation is that I can no longer open an Access database by double-clicking it (as if Access was not installed). It is quite annoying. If so, make sure that the existing psqlodbc.dll is not read-only, and that it is not in use when you try to upgrade. Regards, Dave.
