SV: [INTERFACES] couldn't start postmaster - couldn't allocate sharedmemory

well I don't think so, I mean I have had it working for a month or so
but then I started dealing with the ACE library, which is pretty neat
and a X-C++-library JX, it's been a struggle, and this is probably the
reason why it doesn't work, but what it is, well I don't know.
If ya got any ideas, any at all please get back to me
The function it can't execute is shmget (something like that) and
some other shmxxx methods.

regards
 Tobias

Any chance your out of semaphores? Try ipcs to see what's allocated,
then
the ipcclean script (in your lib/postgresql/bin dir) to clean them up.
