Обсуждение: ODBC DATE PROBLEM

I use the europena DATE format on my backend, running postmaster with -o
-e option.

When I get from access or excel date fileds i always get dates back in
this format:

year-month-day

when I would (should??) get them back in the european format os within
pgsql.

day-month-year.

How can I fix the problem??

I have 248 version number installed.

I am not sure about Access but I use ODBC from Excel and VB.

I leave my backend in default date mode (US private format) but rely on the
ODBC driver to switch itself to ISO format (as I recall, this approach was
decided by consensus a few months back).

In VB, this seems to be converted to whatever I select in the Control Panel
Regional Settings.

Sometimes I also use the VB Format function to manipulate the raw input format.
