Hello,

I'm using PG 9.2.2 with Qt for accessing the server. If I compile Qt =
with the 9.2.2 libpg, can I use this libpg also with eg 8.3 ?
So can I use the libpg with earlier Postgres database versions?

Yes, you can use the most recent libpq to talk with fairly old
PostgreSQL versions.
