i'm trying to download contrib/dblink but none of the mirror's appear to
have anything in their contrib directories (no, i didn't try all of them,
but a good bunch are empty)

where can i download this?

contrib/ is part of the standard source tarball.  I dunno why there's a
separate contrib directory on the ftp site.
