Обсуждение: where is OID data stored?

Hi ,

I have been trying to store image in database and
trying to retrieve it, but have had any luck so far.

Far as I can tell, I am putting image into the
database because I get OID id in the table.  When I
try to retrieve the image the image bytes are not
there.

I am beginning to think that the reason that I am not
able to store image is because of permission problems.
If the image is being tried to be stored outside
/usr/local/pgsql, then it can't be done since the
postgres owner does not have any permissions outside
/usr/local/pgsql.
