timestamp usage?

I have seen in the documentation that you can get the timestamp
of tomorrow by entering
timestamp(date 'Tomorrow')

this is almost what i need... is it possible to get something
like with the unix date command:
date --date '1 month' ?

or where is date documented... i didn't find it.

current_date + interval '1 month'
