Please pardon my lack of Postgresql experience.  Before we go any further
with Postgresql, I would like to know if anybody has any information about
EJB support, specifically EJB 1.1.

Java.sun.com does.  or www.apple.com/webobjects/ for a nicer, more mature
solution (Enterprise Objects Framework).
