on the mirror that I use
(mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/cygwin/release/postgresql)
postgresql-7.4.5-1.tar.bz2 from august is the latest (other than an
8.0.0 beta from october).  The same files are on sources.redhat.com.

Is there any chance of geting a rebuilt cygwin package with more recent
docs and 7.4.6?

I submitted a patch to correct the above on Tue, 20 Jul 2004 07:33:25.
IMO, you should use the Cygwin PostgreSQL README instead:

    /usr/share/doc/Cygwin/postgresql-7.4.5.README

Building a Cygwin 7.4.6 has been on my todo list.  Sorry, no ETA.
