Обсуждение: BUG #1388: documentation/announcement suggestion
The following bug has been logged online: Bug reference: 1388 Logged by: Holger Klawitt Email address: lists@klawitter.de PostgreSQL version: 8.0.0 Operating system: all Description: documentation/announcement suggestion Details: There is no (at least no apparent) link to the ChangeLog for the most recent version of postgres in neither the announcements nor in the news nor in the download section (at top level). I'd think that the ChangeLog is of more interest than the list of supported platforms - imagine how often someone wants to look at either :-) Regards!

You can see the release notes in the development copy of the web documentation (http://developer.postgresql.org/docs/postgres/release.html).
Thanks for your reply! > For most people I expect the release notes are more useful than the change > log. [...] > (http://developer.postgresql.org/docs/postgres/release.html).=20 The only problem with that page is that it is not mentioning changes betwee= n=20 release candidates... Anyway, my main point was that the announcement mentions the list of suppor= ted=20 platforms but lacks (a link to) the list of new features.
