Call for lightning talks - European PGDay 2008

A session of lightning talks is planned as part of the schedule for
the European PGDay. Lightning talks are 5 minutes long (and will be
cut short if they overrun!) and can be on any topic related to
PostgreSQL. You can present a new project you've started, research
results you wish to share, or tell everyone about a fantastic idea for
a new feature you've had. You may use slides with your talk, however
live demonstrations will not be possible due to the short amount of
time available between talks.

If you'd like to present a lightning talk, please send an email to
callforpapers-en@pgday.org, with a brief outline of the topic you'd
like to talk about, and some basic details about yourself - who you
are, what you work on and so on.

The closing date for submissions is the 30th of September, and you
will be notified about whether your talk has been accepted or not
shortly afterwards.

Slide decks for accepted talks must be submitted by the 13th of
October in PDF format.

Folks; please consider this your PGDay lightning talk reminder!! If
you wish to present a lightning talk at PGDay in Prato and bask in the
glory in which you'll be bathed(!), you'll need to submit the topic
within the next week!

Please see the my email below for more details.

Regards, Dave.
