Very often it is not possible to paste text from clipboard. Option “edit/paste” is grayed, shortcutCtrl+V doesn’t work as well. When query editor is prefilled with SQL of selected object (eg. database name) thenremoving of window contents unlocks pasting from clipboard. Worse situation is when this window is already clear andwe will switch to another window or application (Alt+Tab) and then go back to query editor then there is nothing to clearand pasting is permanently impossible. Workaround to this is use copy command with nothing selected.
