Hello, Nelson. Are you sure you have updated the 8.1 server? Maybe you have just installed the new instance of it. Try looking into the services list (I assume you are on windows). Sorry, I didn't explain well. It is running on windows. I have two instances running now, 8.3 and 8.1. I'm learning how tocreate my dump and restore scripts and then I will delete 8.1. But ...., the pgadmin is running from the 8.3 install andis still shows the old 8.1 list of server connections. Where is the server connection list stored? Thanks, Nelson Hello, Nelson. I just had a quick look in the registry and found a list of servers under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\pgAdmin III\Servers - however, I have no idea what bad effects might arise from zapping anything here - as always, tread VERY CAREFULLY in your registry.... Thanks, now I understand. I didn't delete the duplicate entry from the registry but double deleting with the right clickand then reentering the connection worked. -----Original Message----- From: Raymond O'Donnell [mailto:rod@iol.ie] Sent: Friday, January 23, 2009 5:51 AM To: Nelson, William Cc: Julius Tuskenis; pgadmin-support@postgresql.org Subject: Re: [pgadmin-support] pgadmin settings On 23/01/2009 01:26, Nelson, William wrote: > Sorry, I didn't explain well.
