suggested:

"Bookmark View"

A user has selected 'View Data -> View All Rows' or 'View Data
->View Filtered Rows' from the context menu for a view or table. They eventually are presented with the 'Edit Data'
tabulardisplay window. From the 'View' menu on that window, allow the user to 'Bookmark this View'. When selected, the
userwould be prompted to give a name to that bookmark. A default name would be provided such as "Table XYZ on server
ABC".

On the main Pgadmin window, add a new 'Bookmarks' menu. From that pull-down menu, the user could then
openor remove an existing bookmark. When opening an existing bookmark, a connection to the original database would be
established, and any filter/sort rules would be re-applied, then the 'Edit Data' window would be displayed.

Thatwould save people many, many mouse clicks for tables that they often need to glance at for monitoring purposes.
Thisis especially the case with the 'sl_status' view provided in a Slony cluster, for example.

Cheers,<br

It sounds like you're using the wrong tool for that sort of task - the
query tool with it's Favourites and new Macros features should do
exactly what you need.
