I'm pleased to announce the release of the first beta version of pgAdmin III v1.8.0. pgAdmin is the leading graphical administration and development tool for PostgreSQL, EnterpriseDB and most other PostgreSQL-derived DBMSs. It can be used on Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, Mac and Solaris with servers on any platform. For more information, please see the website: http://www.pgadmin.org/ For details of the changes since v1.6, please see the changelog at: http://www.pgadmin.org/development/changelog.php To download the beta, please visit the download page at http://www.pgadmin.org/download/. In addition to the source code, binary downloads are currently available for Windows, Mac OS X and Slackware Linux. Additional binaries will be released as soon as possible. This is a pre-release version and should be used at your own risk! Please report any bugs or problems to pgadmin-support@postgresql.org. Regards, Dave. -- Dave Page pgAdmin Project Lead

I just uploaded binaries for Fedora 7, and also an SRPM for Fedora 7 and Fedora Core 6 (if wx2.8 is installed). They will sync to main FTP site soon. Hi Dave, I just want mention some points here. 1. I have done the basic functionality tests on SPARC/x86 machines. It went fine and no issues. 2. Since we don't have enough resources, we won't be able to upload Solaris binaries for Beta releases. However, we will do for v1.8.0. 3. I forgot the password and unable to login/update MD5 values. Thanks for updating MD5. I will try to generate a new ssh key again during v1.8.0 binary upload. Thanks Dhanaraj Dave Page wrote: > I'm pleased to announce the release of the first beta version of pgAdmin > III v1.8.0. > > pgAdmin is the leading graphical administration and development tool for > PostgreSQL, EnterpriseDB and most other PostgreSQL-derived DBMSs.
