Nice. I take it this works OK in Linux? I remember you thought it
probably wouldn't in the past.

I did think there would be work to be done under Linux (SuSE 8.1,
2.4.19), but actually I compiled and it works with no change at all.
What has to be checked is whether long queries (>=8kb) will show the
same problem in libpq as is present in Win32 libpq.lib
